KBA Africa’s shareholders are:
Kojo Parris (Chairman)– Kojo helps steward his, and elements of the Mandela family, investment portfolio. He is chairman of A4e Africa and the founder in 2008 of African Social Entrepreneurs Network (ASEN), founding CEO of Social Private Equity South Africa, a director of Operation Hope & the KBA Group. He is a former investment banker with NM Rothschilds, Merchant Bank of Central Africa and Banc ABC, oversaw venture capital/private equity portfolios at TA Holdings and Takura Ventures Fund in Zimbabwe, and worked in operational management for Booker Tate in Papua New Guinea, Australia, Kenya and London.
Kojo, who was born in Guyana for whom he is the Honorary Consul to South Africa, won the Cambridge Commonwealth scholarship where he read for an MA in Engineering (Manufacturing
Agnes Hove (CEO)– Agnes has been a strategic organisational consultant in blue chip companies for over fifteen years and has experience in Strategy Formulation and implementation, Business Process Improvement, IT Strategy Formulation, Project Management, Organizational Development and the management of Human Capital. Agnes possesses a Master of Science (MSc) Degree in Strategic Management, a Business Management (BBA) Degree and various Diplomas and Certificates.
Darren Goneke (Country Administrator) has experience in events management and administration. He recently obtained his Diploma in Tourism Management.
Yona Banda (KBA Associate) is a career banker with more than twenty years of hands on experience in the Zimbabwe financial services sectors and capital markets at senior management and Director Level. His professional career incorporates proven technical skills in investment appraisal, corporate finance and investment/fund management. He possess a strong background and hands on experience in business strategy formulation and implementation.
